The team of volunteers had just ten days to transform the homes onto the veterans’ street into a large three bedroom house which will become home to a 36 year-old-amputee single Dad of 3 kids under-6, who had his foot blown off by an IED in Iraq during patrols. He is a decorated soldier, mentioned in dispatches for his bravery.
